What Is Xeomin?
Xeomin® (incobotulinumtoxinA) is an FDA-approved anti-wrinkle injection that relaxes the small facial muscles whose repeated contractions crease the skin — the same mechanism as Botox. What makes Xeomin distinct is purification: manufacturing removes the complexing proteins other neurotoxins carry, leaving only the active molecule — hence its nickname, the "naked" or double-purified neurotoxin.

Why purification matters
Accessory proteins do not contribute to smoothing — but they can, in some long-term patients, contribute to antibody formation that gradually blunts results. Xeomin's stripped-down formulation is designed to minimize that risk, making it a smart choice for patients planning years of maintenance.
Effectiveness and duration are comparable to Botox in clinical studies — results appear within days and last three to four months. In Scottsdale, Dr. Luca Lioce, NMD of Vita Sana Medical Center injects Xeomin exclusively as his neurotoxin of choice.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Xeomin as good as Botox?
Clinical studies show comparable efficacy and duration; the difference is Xeomin's purified, protein-free formulation. Injector skill matters far more than the label on the vial.
Is Xeomin safe?
Xeomin is FDA-approved with a well-established safety profile when injected by trained medical professionals; screening at consultation covers the few contraindications.
Who should consider Xeomin?
Adults bothered by expression lines — frown lines, forehead creases, crow's feet — or looking to soften lines before they set.
